The National Marathon Championships 2010 is fast approaching, please get entries in by
Friday 23rd July preferably via the HRM system. This year's championships will be held
on the River Dee at Chester, on the weekend of 31st July / 1st August 2010.

The GB racing team has been announced for the second round of the Marathon World
Cup, in Brandenburg on 24/25 July.
Largely unchanged from the successful team in Tyn, the team includes gold medallists
Ben Brown, Jenny Illidge, Alice Haws and Vicky Croucher, and Jon Tye who will be aiming
to upgrade on his bronze medal position of two weeks ago. All of the team selected placed
in the top 10 at Tyn, so with the right performance a medal is possible from any of them.
The athletes selected are:-
JMK1 Jon Tye (WOR); Albert Hicks (NOR)
JWK1 Jenny Illidge (RUN)
SWK1 Claire Gunney (WEY)
SMK1 Ben Brown (ELM); Jon Simmons (WEY)
JMK2 Oli Rix/Tom Deacon (NOR/ADS)
JWK2 Vicky Croucher/Alice Haws (WEY)
SMK2 Ben Bradshaw/Aaron Jordan (NOR/MAI)
