The MRC will be holding the final two assessment races of 2010 on the weekend of 28/29 August at Worcester. Following these races, selections will be made for the World Championships in Banyoles, Spain.

The French national team will also be competing at this event as their own final assessment race.

Singles races will be on Saturday at 1pm, doubles on Sunday at 12. All races will be over the standard international distances.

The second K2/C2 assessment race of the 2010 season will be held at Reading CC on Sat 29th May. Please note that the Reading Circuit Hasler race is the next day (Sun 30th). Parking for the assessment race only is at the canoe club. Details here.

WORLD CUP 2, BRANDENBURG, GERMANY (SELECTED ATHLETES ONLY) 24-25 JULY

WORCESTER, ALL CLASSES, SATURDAY 28TH AND SUNDAY 29TH AUGUST

Assessment races are conducted using an international-standard format of multiple 4.3km laps, each with a portage:-

Senior Men: 7 laps

Senior Women, Senior Canoes, U23 Men: 6 laps

Junior Men, U23 Women, U23 Canoes: 5 laps

Junior Women: 4 laps
